Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Love My Ebooks, including the public catalogue, reader features, Author Studio, author mini-sites, downloads, ARC and review opportunities, direct sales tools, and related services.

By using the website, creating an account, submitting content, joining a reader offer, applying for an ARC, buying or downloading a book, or subscribing to Author Studio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About Love My Ebooks

Love My Ebooks provides tools for discovering books, connecting readers and authors, managing author content, and helping authors present, share, and sell their books. Some features are public, some require a reader account, and some require an Author Studio account or package.

Love My Ebooks is not a publisher, literary agent, retailer of third-party books, tax adviser, legal adviser, or payment provider unless a specific page clearly says otherwise.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login details secure, and for all activity that happens through your account.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account if information is false, misleading, abusive, unlawful, or creates a security or operational risk.

If you use Love My Ebooks on behalf of an author, business, publisher, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

3. Reader features, downloads, and ARC access

Book information, reader offers, free reads, samples, download links, ARC opportunities, review copies, and retailer links may change or be removed at any time.

Downloadable files, samples, bonus content, free reads, and ARC or review files are provided for personal reading or review purposes only unless the author or rights holder states otherwise.

You must not redistribute, resell, upload, share publicly, scrape, or make derivative commercial use of ARC copies, review copies, downloads, samples, or other protected reader materials unless you have written permission from the rights holder.

Access to a reader offer or ARC does not guarantee that you will receive every format, edition, update, bonus, or future version of a book.

4. Author Studio

Author Studio gives authors tools to manage author profiles, books, series, reader offers, free reads, ARC campaigns, book files, sales links, direct sales settings, statistics, and related publishing workflows.

Available features depend on your package, configuration, account status, technical requirements, and any limits that apply to your package. Package names, features, limits, and pricing may differ between monthly, annual, promotional, WarriorPlus, PayPal, lifetime, or manually assigned packages.

You remain responsible for your author content, book details, files, metadata, reader-facing promises, pricing, taxes, customer communications, refunds, and legal compliance.

5. Author content and rights

You keep ownership of the books, covers, descriptions, author names, series names, files, images, branding, and other content that you own or are authorised to use.

By adding content to Love My Ebooks, you give us permission to host, process, display, resize, format, transmit, and otherwise use that content as needed to provide the service, operate author mini-sites, deliver reader offers, process orders, show catalogue listings, send emails, and support related features.

You must only upload or publish content that you own, have licensed, or otherwise have permission to use. You are responsible for copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, and other rights connected to your content.

We may remove or restrict content that appears unlawful, infringing, misleading, harmful, explicit in a way that breaches our policies, technically unsafe, spam-like, or otherwise unsuitable for the service.

6. Packages, billing, and payment providers

Paid packages may be billed through PayPal, WarriorPlus, or another checkout provider shown at the time of purchase. Your use of those payment providers is also governed by their own terms, fees, refund processes, account rules, and technical requirements.

Recurring packages renew according to the billing period shown at checkout unless cancelled or otherwise ended. Package access may remain active until the paid-through date after cancellation, depending on the package and payment status.

Single-payment and lifetime packages are not recurring subscriptions unless the checkout page clearly says otherwise.

Prices, currencies, package limits, promotional offers, and included features may change over time. Changes do not automatically alter the package already assigned to your account unless the package terms, checkout provider, or Love My Ebooks expressly provide otherwise.

Refunds, cancellations, failed payments, chargebacks, disputes, and subscription status changes may affect access to paid features.

7. Lifetime Access packages

If you purchase a Lifetime Access package, your access is to the Author Studio package features, limits, and abilities available to that package on the date your signup or payment is completed.

Lifetime Access does not guarantee access to future enhancements, new modules, new integrations, increased limits, tier upgrades, later additions, or services that are introduced after your signup or payment unless Love My Ebooks expressly includes them in that package.

Lifetime Access means access for the lifetime of the relevant Love My Ebooks service or package, not for your personal lifetime or the lifetime of any separate third-party service. If the service, package, integration, provider, or technical platform is discontinued, materially changed, or no longer viable, access may change or end.

Love My Ebooks may improve, change, replace, limit, or retire features over time to maintain the service, comply with third-party provider requirements, support platform operations, manage costs, or protect the site and its users.

Lifetime Access remains subject to these terms, acceptable use, payment and refund rules, third-party provider terms, technical limits, and any security or operational restrictions needed to run the platform.

8. Direct sales from author sites

Some Author Studio packages may let authors sell books directly from their author sites. Where this is enabled, Love My Ebooks does not take a commission from the author sale unless a separate agreement or checkout page clearly says otherwise.

Authors must configure and maintain their own payment provider account, such as PayPal, and are responsible for provider fees, account approval, tax settings, refunds, disputes, fulfilment, customer support, fraud handling, and compliance with payment-provider rules.

Love My Ebooks provides tools to help connect the author site, checkout flow, order records, and fulfilment workflow, but we do not control third-party payment providers and cannot guarantee that every payment, webhook, checkout, refund, or provider integration will work without interruption.

9. Third-party links, retailers, and integrations

The website may link to retailers, author websites, payment providers, mailing-list platforms, analytics providers, file services, social platforms, and other third-party websites or services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Love My Ebooks is not responsible for their content, policies, availability, pricing, technical changes, account decisions, fees, or actions.

Third-party integrations may be changed, limited, suspended, or removed if the provider changes its API, pricing, rules, authentication requirements, or service availability.

10. Acceptable use

You must use Love My Ebooks in a lawful, respectful, and reasonable way. You must not misuse the service, interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, scrape protected content, upload malware, send spam, harass others, impersonate another person, misrepresent rights, or use the platform for unlawful or harmful activity.

You must not use Love My Ebooks to distribute content that infringes rights, exposes private information without permission, promotes fraud, or creates a legal, safety, reputational, technical, or operational risk for the platform or its users.

11. Intellectual property

The Love My Ebooks name, platform design, software, workflows, branding, interface, documentation, and service content are owned by Love My Ebooks or its licensors, except for user content and third-party materials.

All book covers, descriptions, author names, series names, publisher names, trademarks, and related intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

No rights are transferred to you except the limited right to use the service as allowed by these terms and your package.

12. Privacy and communications

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you agree that we may process account, operational, transactional, support, analytics, and communication data as needed to run Love My Ebooks.

We may send service emails, account notices, security messages, transactional emails, support replies, and important updates. Marketing emails will follow the consent and unsubscribe options available for the relevant list or service.

13. Availability, data, and backups

We aim to keep Love My Ebooks useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent availability of any feature, or permanent storage of every file or item of content.

You should keep your own copies of important manuscripts, book files, images, metadata, customer records, reports, and other materials. Love My Ebooks should not be your only backup.

We may carry out maintenance, change hosting, modify features, restrict access, or suspend parts of the service for security, legal, technical, operational, or business reasons.

14. No guarantees

Love My Ebooks does not guarantee book sales, downloads, reviews, reader engagement, search visibility, catalogue placement, ARC responses, email deliverability, ranking improvements, income, or publishing success.

Statistics and reports are provided for guidance and may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, affected by tracking limits, or changed as systems improve.

15. Limitation of responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Love My Ebooks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, or third-party service failures arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, misuse the service, create risk for the platform or other users, or if we need to comply with legal, payment-provider, security, or operational requirements.

You may stop using the service at any time. Some billing, cancellation, refund, data-retention, and access rules may continue to apply after account closure.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will apply from the date it is published or from any later date stated on the page.

If a change is material, we may take reasonable steps to highlight it, but you are responsible for reviewing the current terms when using the service.
