Aldric Vale came to the Last Hearth Inn to sell his share, settle an unfortunate legal clause, and leave before anyone remembered too loudly who he used to be.

Unfortunately, the inn has other ideas.

Once a fortified wayhouse at the edge of the Wild Road, the Last Hearth is now meant to become something far less dramatic: a respectable inn and hot-spring retreat for travellers, pilgrims, scholars, young adventurers, and anyone sensible enough to want dry socks before heroics.
